who are we?
president
Lori Arnold
is an architectural conservator. Her work focuses on the identification of material deterioration problems through on-site condition assessment and laboratory analysis. Professionally trained at Columbia University, she is engaged in the research of various new methods of wood conservation not widely used in the United States. Her recent research focus has been on the development of an alternative method of exterminating and controlling termites.
The team
We work with the top architects, engineers, conservators and scientists when assembling a team to approach a specific project. Local specialists are always our first choice. We believe that preserving cultural heritage is just as much about contributing to a local economy as it is about saving historic architecture.
The lab
We use Orion Analytical, LLC for any and all of our testing. In some instances, an entomologist is needed, in which case, we turn to local universities and experts.
